Produktbeschreibung
An axial mode helical antenna consists of conducting wire wound in the form of a helix mounted on a reflector is to be proposed. Metal helical antenna (MHA) has typical advantages, such as directivity and circular polarization, and is widely used in directional wireless communication system, as well as in the satellite system [1]. Helical antenna has been widely used as simple and practical radiators over the last five decades due to their remarkable and unique properties [2-3]. The rigorous analysis of a helix is extremely complicated. Therefore, radiation properties of the helix, such as gain, far-field pattern, axial ratio, and input impedance have been investigated using experimental methods, approximate analytical techniques, and numerical analysis. The proposed helical antenna has bandwidth of 30.77% with a directivity of a 9 dBi at 3.75GHz. The antenna is suitable for S and C band applications.
