From the end of the first decade of the 21st century to the present day, a vertiginous process of transformation of the global economy has taken place. And when we say "the economy" generically, we refer to all phases, productive sectors, actors involved, input supply chains, forms of production, distribution, advertising and, of course, the transformation of consumption habits and styles in general. In other words, we cover the entire broad spectrum of activities, processes and relationships between people and organizations involved in any area of economic-productive and consumer activity on a global scale. This statement should not be considered as a commonplace to try to define in a simplistic way what is called the Fourth Industrial Revolution, based on the Knowledge Economy. Being that this paradigm of the global economy has its form of objectification in digital technologies and in the creation of new paradigms of commerce implemented in Internet technology. The production model in the Huasteca potosina must be integrated into this technological and productive reality within the framework of the UN SDGs.
