The effect of Zingiber officinale essential oil on the growth inhibition of Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 MRSA was evaluated. The essential oil was obtained by steam distillation method; it was diluted in 0.1% Tween 80 to obtain concentrations of 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%.
