Elliott is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Physics and Astronomy, at Purdue University, where he has over thirty-nine years of experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in electromagnetics, lasers, optics, circuits and introductory physics. He is a Member of the IEEE, and a Fellow of the American Physical Society and Optica.
