Madison Blair Cohen es una joven de 17 años de Manhasset, Nueva York. Ella es una estudiante de último año en la Escuela Portledge y es candidata al Bachillerato Internacional que se destaca en las artes visuales y escénicas. Maddy siempre se ha sentido atraída por las ciencias naturales y el idioma español. Con este fin, disfrutó muchísimo representando las ilustraciones médicas capturadas en su nuevo libro, Abrazándonos uno al otro, y sintió firmemente que su historia debería estar disponible para los hispanohablantes. Utilizando sus talentos lingüísticos para traducir su historia del inglés al español, ha puesto copias impresas de sus libros a disposición de pacientes en escuelas, clínicas, hospitales, consultorios médicos, grupos de apoyo y centros de rehabilitación a nivel local y global.Abrazándonos uno al otro describe de manera conmovedora las luchas físicas y emocionales de la escoliosis, desde el diagnóstico hasta el uso del corsé.
