Autorenporträt
Dr. Nosheen Masood is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She completed her PhD in Human Molecular Genetics at the Department of Biosciences at COMSATS University, Islamabad, Pakistan . Her main research interests include molecular biology and cancer genetics, with a focus on epidemiological studies, risk assessment, genomic analysis, immunohistochemistry-based diagnostics and protein-protein interactions. She has been received various prestigious awards, notably, the Research Productivity Award 2014-2015 from the Pakistan Council of Science and Technology (PCST) category D, and Research Productivity Awards from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology for six consecutive years from 2010 to15. She has served as a reviewer for a number of international journals. She has teaching experience in biotechnology, molecular biology, comparative genomics, environmental biology, regulation of gene expression and molecular evolution. She has published a number of research articles in respected, peer-reviewed international journals and authored or co-authored various book chapters. Saima Shakil Malik is presently working as the Scientific Officer at Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She has obtained her Ph.D. from the Department of Biotechnology, Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Previously, she has worked as a visiting researcher at the School of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at University of Bristol, UK. Her research interests are focused on the cancer genetics and molecular diagnostics. She has teaching experience in biotechnology, molecular biology and biostatistics. She has numerous publications in internationally reputed journals and authored book chapters.
