Andrey Tikhomirov, in 1986 afgestudeerd aan het Orenburgse Staatspedagogisch Instituut met een diploma in geschiedenis, sociale wetenschappen, staat en recht, werkte als leraar op middelbare scholen en universiteiten, en redigeerde kranten.
