The aim of this study was to evaluate the stress and strain of two commercial brands of orthodontic mini-implants after the application of two types of forces (tensile force of 200 gf and torsion force of 20 N.cm) inserted at two angulations (45° and 90° in relation to the cortical bone). Material and method: Three-dimensional models of the two brands of mini-implants (SIN - Sao Paulo, Brazil, and RMO - South Korea) were built and analyzed by finite element analysis (FEA). The analyses were performed in simulations on cortical bone, cancellous bone and screw.
