Autorenporträt
Poet, journalist and editor, Wendy O'Hanlon, enjoyed a wistful growing up on the family sugar-cane farm on Dunethin Rock Road, Maroochy River on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Fascinated with words and writing from the time she learned to read and write, Wendy would pen poetry and short stories from her bedroom verandah overlooking the Maroochy River and Mt Ninderry.Her first poem was written at the age of six, about her little brother Daren - "Daren the Baron". Poetry has been Wendy's constant companion ever since.
