Due to the increased awareness of Global Warming and Green House Gas (GHG) emissions, numerous studies are available on green ICT espousal in multiple sectors. However, there is a viable research gap yet to be complemented in green ICT acceptance and adoption methods. This study, therefore, attempts to delve deeper into the acceptance barriers and proposes a model expending smart practices with a focus on addressing drivers and readiness factors that motivate everyone to adopt green ICT practices.
