The Book is aimed at analyzing the effect of deforestation, a climate conflict and optimization of green energy sources using finite stages model of the Markov Chains. The objectives are: to identify and analyze the factors that influence deforestation in the study area, determine the major sources of available green energy to be harnessed for the community benefit, to select an energy technology optimization control and configuration system that will control deforestation impact and help mitigate climate change in general. The work recommends: that the Global Green Energy Regulatory Council (GGERC) be set up by governments to encourage sources to terminate deteriorating landscapes and use of green energy to balance the ecosystem and the water cycle, thereby restoring our climate, that the established GGERC should implement the collection of appropriate tariffs for the governments utilities arising from green energy developmental projects. The contribution to knowledge is such that the finite stages models of Markov chains used in the selection of appropriate technologies and applications that are developed in this work form an alternative to other simulation techniques.
