The green synthesis of silver nanoparticles synthesized by using plant extract through a green chemistry approach with a number of advantages like eco-friendly process, economically efficient, non-toxic, energy-efficient, less time consuming, environmentally safe and protecting human health. Silver nanoparticles were successfully synthesized by using plant extract color change of the solution it's confirmed the formation of silver nanoparticles and the nature of synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy, FT-IR, X-ray diffraction, SEM, and TEM. The green synthesis of silver nanoparticles exhibited good antimicrobial activity against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. The green synthesized silver nanoparticles showed reliable anticancer activity against HEP-2 cell line and MCF-7 human breast cancer cell line along with the standard anticancer drugs.
