In the monograph the physical basis and technology of the process of high-temperature nitrocement in the electrostatic field (EP) are considered. It is shown that the use of ES allows not only to intensify the process of nitrocement of low-carbon steel in 1.5-2 times, but also to obtain in the surface layer of steel a higher quality diffusion layer, which has a high hardness, wear resistance and other high physical and mechanical and operational characteristics.
