Tunru-Gbere is a toll city of the confederal kingdom of Borgu of which Niki is the political capital. This tollgate was located on the caravan route Kparaku -Djugu Wangara -Salaga. Né vers 1986 à Malanville, Aminou Gambari est un archéologue béninois qui consacre ses travaux sur les systèmes de défense traditionnels dans le Borgu. il est titulaire d'une maîtrise en Archéologie avec laquelle il enseigne Histoire-Géographie dans les Lycées et Collèges du Bénin. Il poursuit ses études à l'Ecole Doctorale de la FLASH à l'UAC.
