Incorporating spatial management into the complex field of integrated flood management enforces legal integration in European River Basin Districts of cross border flood events. The analysis should improve usability of spatial planning models and provide answers related to different disciplineslike hydrology, ecology and economy and especially be useful to policy makers, environmental groups, organizations, units of governments, and professionals in land and environmental management.
