The main purpose of this research was to propose an improvement plan for the application of the pedagogical strategies used by teachers at the Immaculate Conception Polytechnic, Consuelo Municipality, Educational District 05-06. Specifically in 5th grade of electricity of the technical-professional modality. Methodologically, the research was framed in a field design, descriptive, with a mixed approach. The population consisted of eleven (11) teachers who taught in this course in both technical and curricular subjects (30) students who studied in this course, during the school period 2017 - 2018, For data collection, an interview with open and closed questions was applied to the teachers and a survey with open and closed questions was applied to the students. The data analysis was done by applying descriptive statistics, through the elaboration of tables and graphs of frequency distribution using the Excel program.
