Since the 60's we have been trying to define the concept of Instructional Design from different points of view, adding and updating it according to the changes in education and the impact of new technologies. New technologies that every day are developing faster and faster, accompanying changes worldwide and providing new learning spaces for students and new work opportunities for teachers. In this scenario, it is necessary to take into account that a new space requires a new design, in the XXI century when we refer to a new learning space, we refer to a Virtual Learning Environment that with the appropriate instructional design can become a Virtual Learning Environment. In addition, in today's world, the teaching - learning relationship has undergone changes, and with it also the role of the teacher and the student, these changes are due to social and economic changes and the rapid development that has been happening in the world with new technologies. In this sense it is necessary that the teacher redefines his role and review the methodologies implemented in the classroom in order to improve the learning environment.
