In recent past years, the concept of intra household resource allocation has been researched by several social scientists. There has been an increasing recognition that some aspects of intra household resource allocation issues are of potential importance for policymakers for at least two reasons. First, paying attention to the individual level and household level welfare which may affect the views of policymakers about who and where the poor are. Second, the way household members allocate resources among themselves could potentially affect the effectiveness of policy intervention and may even lead to unintended consequences for policymakers. In this book, the detailed structure of household behavior of resource allocation and expenditure pattern among households and its members was examined by using advanced multivariate techniques to understand the relationship among different household indicators. This book will provide background knowledge about those factors that influence household consumption activities and help in predicting Household expenditures with the help of considered independent variables.
