Syed Siddiqua Begum earned her Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from Thiruvalluvar University, India in 2018. She is serving as Assistant Professor of Mathematics & Actuarial Science, B. S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai. She was awarded Maulana Azad National Fellowship for Minority Students, UGC.
