Autorenporträt
Helen Pendleton was raised in Blacksburg VA and went to school at Blacksburg High School. She furthered her education with a BA in Sociology at Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green Ohio. She was a Marine at MCRD in San Diego, CA and after finishing her service, stayed out in San Diego, "because the weather is so nice and there is no snow out here". She works with the elderly and is also a great fan of literacy, both in children and in adults. She likes writing children's books because she likes stimulating the imagination of children. She likes helping people enjoy the written word, and encourages them to read and to write as well.
