She has a degree in Dentistry from the Federal University of Paraná (2002), a Master's degree in Public Health from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2004) and a PhD in Dentistry - area of concentration: Paediatric Dentistry, from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2010). She has experience in clinical dentistry and teaching.
