Autorenporträt
Joe Poirier is a mechanical engineer with 30 years of engineering experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Heis also a Marine Corps veteran who served as an avionics technician and embassy guard. He was a mediocre high schoolstudent who was capable, perplexed, incredulous, and curious-but not earnest at the time. Joe is now a math advocate withmany years of experience tutoring middle and high school students. His "math journey" and turnaround, which started inthe Marines, resulted in BS Mechanical Engineering, MS Mechanical Engineering, and MBA degrees, and becoming alicensed Professional Engineer (Mechanical).
