Following the insurmountable quest for medical cure for human immunodeficiency virus and its accompanying acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS), research scientists have been skewed to the threshold of providing scientific methods of somewhat preventive and suppressive measures with the aim of eradicating the deadly disease. Compounded by the submerging complex nature of HIV, due to its indistinguishable nature of the virus and infected cells from uninfected cells of the human immune system (CD4+ T cells), particularly at onset of infection, the only seeming remedy in studying, understanding and possible formulation of solutions to the transmission dynamics has been through mathematical modeling. The present work is an improvement of two previous articles of the author in mathematical modeling of HIV transmission and treatment, which has aided in this study of sustainability of persistent low level viremia. The entire work apart from the introduction is subdivided into four chapters, with insighting conclusion and recommendation.
