Kemal Hanjali¿ is Professor Emeritus at Delft University of Technology and an international fellow of the UK's Royal Academy of Engineering and the Russian Academy of Science. His innovative and sustained contributions to  turbulence-model development, including heat transfer and environmental flows have been recognised by the Max Planck and Nusselt-Reynolds Research Prizes.
