Naina Gupta has a PhD from the Architectural Association, School of Architecture in London, where she has taught. In 2010. she was part of the first cohort to contribute to the collaborative research project between OMA in the Netherlands and Strelka in Russia. She has practiced as an architect for more than a decade and taught in the Aarhus School of Architecture. She currently lives and teaches in the UK. She teaches design, and history and theory studies in architecture. Her more recent work continues themes and methods that were broached in this book where she is studying the swimming pool as a space of transnational embodied relationships focusing on India, the UK and the USA. Her current research interest include psychophysiology and the digital turn in architecture.
