The aim of the researcher was to determine the role of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and performance of donor funded projects. It therefore addressed the following specific objectives: i. Evaluating the commonly used Monitoring and Evaluation tools in the management of project. ii. Determined the extent to which stakeholders participate in the monitoring and evaluation process. iii. Established the relationship between M&E and success of infrastructural management project. iv. Determined how utilization of monitoring and evaluation information influenced infrastructure management project. The study will be important to: Donors and their advisers and interested stakeholders: - The study shall benefit the development partners in that they shall be able to know the scope and impact of their investment strategies with the Government or the private sectors. Managers of projects: - The study stands to benefit those who would like to have improved efficiency in the management and monitoring of their projects. Researchers: - The findings of the study points the gap that the academic community need to fill in order to attain the desired development.
