Muscle strength refers to the ability of the contractile tissue to exert force based on the demands placed on the muscle. Dynamometer is a device used to measure the strength of muscle performing the action resulting in movement at the joint. Dynamic balance is maintaining body position while performing activities like walking, jogging, etc. Women between the age from 55 to 64 years known as post-menopausal women. in post-menopausal age, absence of menstrual cycle causes estrogen deficiency which may lead to reduced muscle strength. In one gait cycle, knee extensors works by contracting eccentrically.110 samples were collected, approached and consented for study. Waterloo Footedness Questionnaire was filled out by the samples followed by the examination of knee extension muscle strength with Dynamometer and dynamic balance was examined with Star Excursion Balance Test for dominant lower extremity. Convenient sampling method was used in which the present study showed that accordingto Pearson Co-relation Coefficient which is computed between muscle strength and dynamic balance which showed that there is highly positive correlation between the two among post-menopausal women.
