LPR system is composed of three parts, which are license plate detection, character segmentation and character recognition respectively. With the development of transportation technology and the universality of the vehicles, vehicle license plate management system has become a popular subject. License plate recognition applies image processing and character recognition technology to identify vehicles by reading their license plates. Anti-terrorism and public security is increasing worldwide and so on the global law enforcement has been deploying vehicle licence.
