The levels of some nutrient elements in Zaria surface water system were investigated for one year. Some proximate parameters and some nutrient elements levels were determined in liver, kidney, heart, flesh and gills of Clarias gariepenus, Lates niloticus and Oreochromis niloticus harvested from the University Dam, Bomo Lake and Zaria Dam. Abubakar Yusha'u studied B. Sc (Chemistry) at Bayero University, Kano. As a Scholar he continued for another degree, in Graduate Studies at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria were he obtained his PhD in Analytical Chemistry. Mr Abubakar is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, F.C.E Kano.
