Autorenporträt
Ross was born in 1978 and raised in Kent, England. He grew up discovering a natural flare for art and accomplished sporting success at a national level before finishing his education. He flirted with several vocations but found a creative outlet in the form of writing songs which not only received critical acclaim, but also achieved regular radio airplay. This eventually led to him performing alongside major stars at high profile events before he was forced to establish a more conventional career. It wasn't until he seized an opportunity reporting for a regional newspaper that his previously hidden writing ability was discovered; it made the perfect partner to his vivid imagination and he set about creating a literary work of total originality. By interweaving wonderfully flawed characters and inventive scenarios around his elaborate and highly unconventional central story, his debut as a novelist impresses on every level and stands tall as a thought provoking, emotionally complex example of fiction that can be applied to life.
