Autorenporträt
Fatima Larean has lived in southeast Detroit and parts of Mid Michigan her whole life. Her journey includes mission work in Uganda and Guatemala, a bachelor's degree in art and psychology, a master's degree in international administration. She has worked with children all of her working career with abuse neglect children in Michigan, street children in the slums of Uganda, and inner city youth of Detroit mentoring them for success in the academic arena. She has also trained other adults in each of these three areas on how to work with children effectively. She is also the author of Once alone in a Crowded Room. One thing she is most proud of is moving past the pain in her life and turning that pain into her purpose of helping others in reaching their potential.
