The exploitation of wood and non-wood resources, the reason for the existence of rural people, ensures economic exchanges with the urban space represented by the inhabitants of the towns and inter and intra-territory exchanges. Among the main activities, beekeeping in the Mandoul and Moyen Chari regions is an emerging sector in full expansion. Faced with the indiscriminate exploitation of natural resources, we are led to take stock of beekeeping in the area with melliferous potential in order to assess its importance and develop it if necessary. In this context, we have chosen the farm of the Groupement des Agriculteurs et Eleveurs (GAEL) in the Mandoul Region as a study area which focuses on the optimisation of beekeeping production through forest management.
