The performance of a machine can be analyzed through a set of parameters that allows its modeling. In the book the equivalent circuit parameters and the electrical parameters in permanent GSTPS regime are checked. The comparison and analysis of GSTPS parameter values obtained by analytical methodology, numerical simulation via finite element method (FEM) and through experimental tests defined in standards are presented. The results by analytical methodology and FEM are obtained through design data and the experimental results are obtained through tests performed in the real machine. Initially, the equations for the analytical calculation are presented and a GSTPS calculation methodology is developed. The experimental tests are presented to obtain the values of the machine parameters. The values of the parameters calculated analytically and via FEM are presented and compared. Finally, the comparison of the parameter values obtained by the three different methods is presented. The results are compared with consistent values, with overall deviations of between 1 % and 90 %.
