Parametric Robust Control technique is proposed to design very low order controller PI (Proportional Integral), PD (Proportional Derivative), PID (Proportional Integral Derivative), LEAD and LEAD-LAG in continuous domain to design control schemes for Electromagnetic levitation system and load frequency control and to design controller PI and PID in delta domain to design control schemes for load frequency control. The effects of the parameter uncertainties are reduced by this control scheme. The delta operator is also used to describe the controllers of load frequency control because it provides not only numerical properties superior to the discrete time shift operator but also converges to the continuous time derivative operator as the sampling period approaches zero.This approach is based on the frequency response of the plant, whose parameters may or may not be known and does not make any restriction on the order of the system. The results of this paper are likely to have a very significant impact on the design of practical control systems.
