Microjet of M/s.Jain Irrigation Company were selected for the performance test. The estimated value of uniformity coefficient was found to be in the good range of 85 to 91percent for microjet and it is acceptable above the 80%. The uniformity coefficient decreases with increase in microjet spacing and increases with decrease in microjet pressure. As spacing increases from 100% to 50% overlapping between the microjets the distribution uniformity decreases from 90 to 75% for microjet, respectively. As pressure increases from 1.5kg/cm2 to 2.0kg/cm2 distribution uniformity decreases for microjet. Similarly, distribution characteristics increase with decrease in spacing and increases with decrease in pressure of the microjet. The distribution characteristic was found to be in the good range 43.61 to 55 percent for microjet.
