The Agriculture of a country to a large extent depends upon nature, potential and properties of the soils and also on the climatic conditions of the region. The Agriculture of a country to a large extent depends upon nature, potential and properties of the soils and also on the climatic conditions of the region. It consists of miscellaneous type of the cropping pattern and resembles the total inter-dependency between the components of the agriculture farming system in a manner that each component of the farming system needs to be in the equilibrium state for the proper productivity and profitability, quantitatively as well as qualitatively. Soil fertility directly relates yield which fluctuates time to time thus, fertility must be evaluated periodically as there is a continuous removal of micro as well as macro-nutrients seasonally. The deficiency of these nutrients depends upon the critical limit below which the crop will responds to their application. Therefore, there is a need of investigation of the soil health, genetic, varietal and other parameters which are directly or indirectly related to yield and its attributing characterswithin definite time and space.
