1.Clays are inexpensive, widely used materials in drug products both as excipients and active agents. 2.The bentonite was studied for their use as disintegrants, binders, and lubricants for the manufacture of compressed tablets 3.Veegum is widely used in tablets in pharmaceutical & nutraceutical formulations. 4.Aceclofenac which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, having a half-life of 3-4 hours. 5.ATR spectral studies showed that there is no significant interaction between drug and excipients 6. The powder blend was tableted by direct compression method. Direct compression represents a simple and cost-effective tablet manufacturing technique. Use of conventional equipment, commonly available excipients and a limited number of processing steps are the advantages of this technique. 7. It was found that Formulation F3 has excellent flow properties and more dissolution time when compared to other formulations.
