Two third of Nepalese population is dependent on agriculture to owe their living. Majority of the farmer are practicing mixed farming system while farm production is much lower that they even couldn't meet their household requirement and on the other hand resource degradation is being major problem for sustainability of farming system.This book consist of farm level study for identification of resource endowment, ecological and economic performance of mixed farms of former Belbari and Jante VDCs of Morang district,Nepal using DEED (Describe, Explain, Evaluate and Design) framework of Farm Design Model. This book also focused soil organic carbon content and nutrient dynamics (NPK Dynamics). Thus this book explored the farm level interventions, resource situation and suggested different intervention to hike overall farm performance and different soil management practices to be undertaken by farmers of Eastern Terai Belt of Nepal.
