The present study concentrates to investigate the avenues of investment by the investors in various financial and physical investment avenues. The objectives are to analyse the socio-economic and demographic factors of the investors in Coimbatore district, to evaluate the level of awareness towards investment avenues, to understand the perception and preference of avenues influenced the respondents towards investment, to find out the risk and returns perceived by the investors after investment and to contribute suggestions.
