The internet has played a key role in changing how we do business today, as a result of the internet; there has been continuous growth in the number of customers who use mobile banking due to it convenience. The challenge that opposes mobile banking is that private information and data are sent directly to customers in plain text form. Developing a secure mobile banking system will help in reducing some of the problems associated with internet and bank fraud while making customers less concern and "worry-free" about the security of their funds and confidential information. The purpose of this research work is to develop a safe and secure mobile banking platform based on image steganography. The system is designed upon key players in the banking setting and it is implemented using Java, NetBeans, and Google firebase as its backend database. The encoding and decoding of the digital image were based on the Least Significant Bit algorithm. The project was able to provide a secure mobile banking system for both the bank and its customers.
