Shock waves are one of the primary cause for brain injury during wars. This has significant effect on skull deformation thereby causing the injury to brain. This thesis work is done to observe the effects of skull deformation by replicating it with a fluid filled cylinder and exposing it to different incident blast over-pressures. Here our primary interest is how the pressure varies inside the cylinder along with the flow of shock wave around the cylinders of different thicknesses. This will help us understand pressure variance inside brain due to deformation along with transmitted wave.

Autorenporträt
I always have the interest in exploring the world which made me study more and knowing things more. In short am an Aeronautical Engineer and Mechanical Engineer who is having keen interest in Bio-Mechanical. This work is mainly done to help understanding brain injuries occur during wars due to intense shock wave exposure.
