In this book, we first describe ambulance redeployment problem. Then we use Dynamic Programming Markov Models with one and two ambulances to gain insights into optimal redeployment policies. Next we show an heuristic model using simulation optimisation to find good redeployment policies for real life sized problems. After that, we present an IP model which uses the insights from the small models. This model also uses Simulation Optimisation to find the best possible parameters to get the best results.

Lei Zhang, born in 1982, received his PH.D in 2018 in College of Computer Science and Technology at Harbin Engineering University. He is also a lecturer and the director of computer software teaching and research office at Jiamusi University. His research interests are security and privacy in vehicle networks, and mobile privacy protocol.
