In the framework of our research we proceeded by a documentary study and a qualitative study. Thus, the analysis of the practices of the development of competences in the said companies showed that the training is the most used method, followed by the motivation, the recruitment and the mobility. These practices reinforce the knowledge of employees and promote a better match between job and profile as well as better productivity. This leads to a better performance of companies. From the answers found, we have deduced that the development of skills is a lever for company performance.
