Autorenporträt
Atul Thakur is the Director of Amity Centre for Nanotechnology and Amity School of Applied Sciences at Amity University Haryana. He was recognized among the top 2% of researchers by Stanford University ranking. Dr. Thakur received his Post Doctorate from the University of Brest, France, and thereafter from the world¿renowned National Taiwan University, Taiwan. He completed his M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Dr. Thakur has published more than 190 research papers in international, peer¿reviewed, and SCI and Scopus¿indexed journals, holds fifty patents and has authored four books. His research areas include ferrite nanomaterials for water purification, agricultural applications, microwave and high¿frequency applications, radar¿absorbing materials, antenna miniaturization, high¿density memory storage systems, sensor applications, and metamaterials. Preeti Thakur is Professor of Physics and the Head of Amity Institute of Nanotechnology at Amity University Haryana, India. She was recognized among the top 2% of researchers by Stanford University ranking. She holds a post¿doctoral degree from Taiwan and was a Gold medalist in her Master's program. Dr. Thakur earned her Ph.D. in Physics from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, India. She is an Editor for the Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials. Her research areas include synthesis and characterization of magnetic nanoferrites for applications such as radar¿absorbing materials, sensors, high frequency, wastewater treatment, and agricultural applications. Dr. Thakur has more than 170 publications in SCI/Scopus¿indexed international journals, holds forty¿five patents, and has edited books on nanomaterials and published specialized book chapters.
