Agricultural biostimulants (ABs) include diverse formulations of compounds, substances and other products, such as microorganisms, trace elements, enzymes, plant growth regulators (PGRs) and macroalgal extracts that are applied to plants or soils to regulate and enhance the crop's physiological processes, thus making them more efficient. Humic acid (HA) has been reported a promising natural resource showing persistent effects on plant growth promotion, plant nutrient uptake and soil nutrient status. This work emphasize on the effect of lignite-derived HA on the growth and nutrient accumulation of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and changes in soil properties after crop harvest. The Results indicated that positive effects of HA on plant growth was concentration specific and concentration and beyond higher doses did not show beneficial effects on most of the characteristics.
