In this book some existence and uniqueness results for difference first order initial value problems and second order difference boundary value problems are obtained. For this Banach contraction principle, Schauder s fixed point theorem and Tychnoff s fixed point theorem are used. Moreover some comparison theorems are obtained using lower and upper solutions as well as maximal and minimal solution of such difference equations.
