Some Forerunners of St. Francis of Assisi is a historical book written by Ellen Scott Davison in 1907. The book explores the lives of several individuals who were influential in the development of the Franciscan order, which was founded by St. Francis of Assisi in the 13th century. The book provides a detailed account of the lives of these individuals, including their spiritual journeys, their contributions to the Franciscan movement, and their impact on the wider Christian community. Through the book, readers gain a deeper understanding of the history and significance of the Franciscan order, as well as the broader context of medieval Christianity. Some Forerunners of St. Francis of Assisi is a valuable resource for scholars, students, and anyone interested in the history of Christianity. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
