This book reviews the latest research on statistical optimization of total biogas produced by Clostridium beijerinkii and Clostridium paraputrificum utilizing N-acetylglucosamine. Individual chapters cover different stages in the optimization design. The Plackett and burman screening design was used to identify significant medium constituents. The information gathered from each stage of the optimization process was used for the next stage ofoptimization. In addition to presenting recent research in this area, this book also contains important discussions on the potential benefits of using statistical optimisation designs.
