The analysis of the works was the occasion to know that the female characters did not know better treatments than the majority of those declined in the novels and news. Also, we have seen female characters occupy second rank statuses, inferior positions to those of men.A contemporary playwright, Prosper Kompaore evokes in his works themes such as female circumcision, forced or early marriage, unconditional submission, levirate, physical, psychological and sexual violence, which constitute the daily experience of the female characters in the corpus. Director of the ATB and the International Festival of Theater for Development, he writes for the promotion of forum theater. The main mission of this type of theater is to raise awareness, to call for changes in behavior.
