The third ligand is Bis[O,O-2,3;O,O-5,6-(acetate(carboxylic) methylidene)]-L-ascorbic acid (LA), was performed by the reaction of Bis[O,O-2,3;O,O-5,6-(chloro (carboxylic)methylidene)]-L-ascorbic acid with two mmoles sodium acetate and The biological activities of these ligands LP, LS, LA and some of their complexes which are (Co2+, Cu2+, Cd2+) performedagainst two types of pathogenic bacteria are Staphylococcus aureus (Gram Positive) and Escherichia coli (Gram Negative) in a nutrient agar medium.
